On the 29th March 2019 I bid a tearful farewell to my trusty 2014 C3 Picasso Exclusive EGS6 and took delivery of a New C4 Cactus 1.2 110 Puretech Flair EAT6 in Emerald Blue with the 17 Inch Black Cross Alloys that I paid extra for and the Gloss White Bumper Inserts.
My Cactus along side a Emerald Blue Flair with the Standard 17 Inch Diamond Cut Alloys and Silver Inserts.
A good friend of mine who's very good at making code 3 models so used to taking models apart managed with some great difficulty swap the Black alloys over from my 1/43 Silver C4 Cactus Model and put them on my Emerald Blue Miniature and put the silver Diamond Cut Alloys on the Silver Miniature. So now I have a exact replica of my real Cactus.
The New Citroen C5 Aircross was launched at UK Dealerships on the 8th February which meant one thing, I had to go and see it in the metal so to speak.
So I went to my friendly Citroen Dealer Thomas & Davies Ltd,
Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, UK to see it.
I was blown away with its stunning looks, luxurious interior and modern technology, Citroen has released some lovely cars but this one is a game changer for Citroen.
With SUVs becoming a more popular choice of vehicle and with Citroen not being in that segment until now they needed something to give the wow factor and I feel with the C5 Aircross they have done just that.
PSA already given the 3008 and DS 7 which are both stunning cars but Citroen needed something to offer too and they have got it right with this C5 Aircross.
In my opinion other manufacturers should be worried as Citroen has given them competition now, In the first 14 days of Launch my Dealer alone has taken orders for 21. In fact the Grey model you will see in my photos below that they had on Display in the showroom was sold within a week.
French cars usually get a bit of stick but what I've seen on social media in the UK alone the C5 Aircross has had a lot of positive comments and I'm sure there will be many more to come.
My 1/43 Norev C3 Aircross Flair In Misty Grey arrived today so now at this current time I have the complete collection of the C3 Aircross Miniatures till such time maybe Norev will produce another colour.
Been Another Great Christmas For Citroen Miniatures Again.
I Had The New Berlingo Multispace and the New C5 Aircross both in 1/64 scale.
Hope you all had a nice Christmas and Here's to a Happy 2019.
Well it was my Birthday on the 1st October which meant yes you guessed right more Citroen Models. This is what I got.
As many will know Citroen has decided after 18 years the Picasso name will be no more.
So I had a dilemma do I do a separate page now or keep the current C4 Picasso pages I have on this site.
I had a thought about it and seems as only the name has changed I will keep the pages as they are and if and when Citroen does a complete new design of the C4 SpaceTourer I think then I would do a new page for any models I would have.
So be it the C4 Picasso or C4 SpaceTourer my collection can still be found on my C4 Picasso/Grand Picasso page on this site.
